Suicide Alertness for Everyone (safeTALK) - A ½ day suicide alertness workshop that teaches community members to recognize persons with thoughts of suicide and to connect them to suicide intervention resources, was held at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington LA on December 10th, 2008. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) – A two-day suicide first-aid interactive workshop was held at the Harrison Curriculum Center, Covington LA on November 18th & 19th, 2008.
